‘Parcheesi Anyone?’ offers a chance for the needle worker to work with a variety
of specialty stitches in this well-paced two-day class.
There will be different color and needlework processes addressed; for example,
directional stitching, how to create emphasis within areas by changing colors
and how the colors (and their volume) work together. This design focuses on the
Parcheesi corners.
There are many types of threads used in this piece in order facilitate the
desired effect; DMC floss, Pepper Pot Silk, Planet Earth 6 Ply Silk, Very Velvet, Splendor and
Kreinik are all utilized in this design. ‘Parcheesi Anyone?’ - stitched on 18-count canvas
measuring 16" x 16".The finished size of this usable Parcheesi Board is approximately 12” x 12”.
This
design includes four sets of Parcheesi men and an unpainted frame!
